JAMES COOPER MAKES LOVE WITH GOLDENSTATE

General Santos City – Same as the famous song line “Love is all that matters…” popularized by a foreign artist, so is the prevailing ambience of the seminar-workshop conducted by one of the country’s great hairstylists James Cooper at the Student lounge of the new edifice of Goldenstate College as he keynoted to the audience “loving yourself, loving your work, loving what you do” to achieve goals.

The seminar on ‘Learning to Love Yourself’ was not only for the students of the college. Teachers and staff alike were blessed to have been given advice first hand by the world-renowned expert James Cooper on enhancing their professional looks and attitude towards work.

The Sunday was exceedingly calm and solemn as teachers and staff gathered at Annex 5 in exciting anticipation of the day’s event. Mr. James Cooper came in with his proverbial bright aura, something that proves he is well practiced with what he preaches- personality development. A lot of the participants were awed by his vibrant portfolio.

 

JOHN MANILAY'S WHITE TRUCK WINS THE BEST IN OLD CAR SCHOOL

John T. Manilay, the only son of  Mr. and Mrs. Warren Manilay once again exhibited his White Truck in the recently concluded  Gensan Car Show which was held last Sept 22-23 at Gaisano Mall. Bagging the Best School Award in its category, John felt very proud and happy because the White Truck has never lost in all the competitions it has ever joined.  The event was in line with the celebration of the city's Tourism Week.
 

GOLDENSTATE WARRIORS BAGGED THE 2ND RUNNER- UP TROPHY IN THE INTER- COLLEGIATE BASKETBALL CUP 2009

Goldenstate Warriors once again proved their supremacy in the hard court when they bagged the 2nd runner-up trophy in the recently concluded Inter-Collegiate Basketball Cup. They competed with 9 other Colleges and Universities here in General Santos City and made their way up to the top 3 teams to vie for the championship trophy. It wasn’t easy for the Warriors to grab a spot in the finals.
