Come Monday, August 30, 2010, twenty two (22) students of Goldenstate College will be flying to Singapore for their on-the-job-training. They have successfully undergone rigid trainings and interviews by the College’s Singaporean counterpart and were all given the nod to train and experience the Hospitality Industry abroad. They will be staying there for one year and will be given allowance and free lodging.
Farthest from our minds that we will be a part of this very huge, wonderful, and amazing event… Many have expressed their intentions of participating...but only one was called; the Goldenstate College of General Santos City.
Nine Hotel and Restaurant Management students from Goldenstate College successfully complied with the requirements to undergo an on-the-job training in Singapore this month. With the support and perseverance of the College’s Local and Foreign Internship Program Coordinator Ms. Julienne Marie T. Manilay, the students will be training in one of the biggest fast-food chain in the world, Burger King. 
Goldenstate College and Preschool Department concluded the Nutrition Month Celebration with a joyful blast. A magnificent Fruit and Vegetable Carving Competition opened the event Friday morning, July 30, 2010 at Robinsons Place General Santos Events’ Center. In the afternoon of the same day, the kids along with their very supportive parents witnessed and participated the special presentations and Healthy Food Fashion Show.
