Once again, Goldenstate College proved its dominance in the field Arts and Designs as its entry in the recently concluded Bridal Fair 2010 bagged the top awards including the much coveted "BEST BOOTH DESIGN AWARD"

This year's theme of the competition is Bridal Fantasy, so the HRM Department's Artistic Team headed by their consultant Mr. Seseng Oblena did not waste any minute to think and conceptualize for the over-all concept of the booth. After a thorough brainstorming with Sir Virgil, Sir Mac-Mac, Sir Joseph and Sir Hanzel together with the Finance Officer, Mrs Sara Jane T. Manilay, they have come up with a fabulous concept; THE ORIENTAL FANTASY.

Constructing a replica of The Great Wall of China as the backdrop of the entire design, oriental inspired antique collections of Mrs. Sara Jane T. Manilay were showcased also to heighten the oriental mood of the booth. The traditional Chinese Opium bed was also put on display where a huge Wedding Cake was placed. It was ornamented with gold cloth, gold twigs and a very elegant flower arrangement. An equally eye-catching and sophisticated buffet and table set-up added regality to the over-all design of the booth. The grandeur of Goldenstate College's entry was highlighted with an excellent use of lighting effects and fog machine to set the entire ensemble to a fantastic mood. And in the end, VICTORY IS OURS!

Aside from the Best Booth Design Award, Goldenstate College also received the Grand prize in the Bridal Bouquet Competition (Professional Level) courtesy of Mr. Narsing Dimaculangan, one of the college's consultants in the HRM Department. A student also from the College received the 3rd place trophy in the same competition under the student's category. That is how we do it here at Goldenstate…..with EXCELLENCE!!
