February 24, 2010- Goldenstate College students attended the forum given by the PNP on its Integrated Transformation Program which intends to eradicate the classic negative notion of society towards the police force. This nationwide pursuit for transformation, which started in 2003, has come to visit the Warriors’ territory to give our students ample information and calling on for their utmost support for the program to be a success. The forum gave students the chance to understand the side of the police force, and in return, students were also able to raise questions on the depth of their intent for transformation. Most of the questions raised were about the opportunities of being in the police force, its benefits, well-compensated salaries, among others, that will help each police prevent crimes of deception and corruption. The forum emphasized that they cannot transform alone, and that civilians are a great part in its endeavors. “ Walang manloloko kung walang magpapaloko” was a saying strongly pointed out.

The very next day, The Goldenstate warriors trudged early dawn to cheer and take part in the 10km fun run headed by the PNP Gensan chapter. The run was widely participated by other members of the society like Karancho Gensan, other criminology schools, Non-government organizations, and social workers. The Transformation Torch was once again lit in its 16th leg and passed on to members of the PNP Gensan chapter. After the fun run, a commemorating program followed where The Goldenstate College was widely acknowledged as the largest participating body for most of the activities, including the recently held Coastal cleanup at Lion’s Beach bay. Kudos, brave warriors!
