March 20, 2010- on this hot, blazing day in General Santos City, honored guests are welcomed with an equally warm and radiant embrace straight from the city airport of the generals. Hon. Juan J. Adames, assistant attache of the immigration and customs enforcement (ICE) and Hon. Nanette Enero, Foreign Service National (FSN) investigator were greeted by the members of the welcome entourage headed by our very own finance officer, Madam Sara Jane Manilay.
Juan and Nanette were honored guests for the successful Jobs Fair held March 21, 2010 at the KCC Convention Center. They were also kind enough to accommodate courtesy calls to as far as Saranggani Province in their pursuit to raise the level of awareness of the people regarding immigration issues, which is the highlight of today’s migrant workers.
As Juan always says, “ it feels like coming home. ” With smiles so warm and a welcome band so alive, who wouldn’t feel close to home? MACHIO
