Goldenstate College community is in high heavens these days because it has taken another leap in going GLOBAL, showcasing the skills and greatness of its members with an International audience. The great Goldenstate College was given the opportunity to be the Official Delegate of the entire Philippines in the forthcoming WORLD FOOD FESTIVAL 2010 to be held in Vung Tau City, Viet Nam on July 21-25, 2010.
The invitation came from Mr. Froilan Emil D. Pamintuan, the Commercial Attache of the Philippine Embassy in HA NOI, Viet Nam. He has confirmed that the Philippines, represented by Goldenstate College in General Santos City will be taking part on this big event together with expected participants from 80 other countries around the world and 63 provinces in Viet Nam.
Goldenstate College, known for its excellence in providing quality education to its students, takes pride in the different Courses it offers particularly Hotel and Restaurant Management. The faculty members of this Department are all experts, having been trained in the best Culinary School in the Philippines. Probably this is one of the reasons why the Philippine Embassy in Viet Nam puts its trust to Goldenstate College. Thus, we take this a big chance to show the world that we have what it takes to be the BEST!
As preparations for the upcoming 5 day-event in one of the most beautiful countries in Asia, the Goldenstate College delegates have prepared a repertoire of traditional Philippine dances as well as four of the most delicious menu of Filipino culinary delights. To serve as the background of the Philippine booth, the Fort Santiago, one of the most historical landmarks of the Philippines will also be featured which will surely be enjoyed by local and International visitors of the Festival.
Goldenstate College team is all set to bring home the bacon and to make a mark in the history in this most perennial event for a great cause. We are calling all the Generals and the entire Philippines to pray with us for our success. This really brings us lessons that as we continually open doors to students and to the community for quality education, blessings indeed overflow from the windows of heaven.
