GOLDENSTATE COLLEGE'S FUN DAY WITH MCDONALDS

E-mail Print PDF

On a very hot Thursday afternoon, September 9, 2010, the pupils with their guardians/ parents, teachers, and teachers’ aides of Goldenstate Little College gathered at the Goldenstate College building to experience the fun with some of the college students and staff.

The little precious angels were so excited, came early in the venue, together with their ever supportive parents. One by one they came, until the set up chairs were fully occupied and the place was congested. The program started beyond the expected time. To sustain the children’s interest and excitement, some preschool teachers entertained them with some nursery rhymes and action songs. They were so entertained and were participative.

When the Mc Donald crew came, they immediately set up and started to get the children’s interests by starting some games. The preschool learners had the Mc Wiggle game first. They had so much fun competing per level for the little prizes and fun. For the second game, the elementary pupils played the pass the object game. Everybody participated well and enjoyed it.

After the second game, the preschool and elementary pupils were asked to take their snacks and get their loot bag while the college students took place in participating the games.

When the children finished eating their snacks, they were so eager to see the real mascots of Mc Donald and Birdie though it took them a while to show up.

The program ended after everybody had finished taking pictures with their anticipated visitors. Everyone helped in cleaning up and filling up the chairs.
Though the event started late, everyone was optimistic and enjoyed the activity, mostly the little children. It’s another successful family activity to be called. The children loved it, and they’ve enjoyed. The teachers were so grateful for the given opportunity.

Our special gratitude to Mam Josie, Sir Ferdie, Sir Boy and the rest of the College’s Faculty, Staff and Students (especially for the ROTC staff) for the accommodation and assistance during the event.

It was a fun day.
