Be a part of the GREAT TUNA EXPERIENCE as Goldenstate College hosts the 4th Tuna Skills Olympics on Wednesday and Thursday, September 2-3 2009 at KCC Convention Center. The competition starts at 7am-6pm.

Experience and witness the BIGGEST Culinary and HRM Skills Competition here in general Santos City as High School students, College and Professionals from all over the region compete for the much coveted titles in different events.

Goldenstate College has been the official host of this event for four years now. This is in line with the celebration of The Tuna Festival and the City's 41st Charter Anniversary. Goldenstate College partners with the General Santos City Chamber of Commerce, the Tuna Council, KCC Mall, ABS-CBS and the Philippine Foremost Milling Corporation.

Mrs Josie Yap-Tirador,MBA,  is the over-all chairman of the event while the School Administrator, Mr. Ferdinand G. Alcantara, MAED, will be the vice chairman. Mr. Virgil Casquejo, the non-academic head of the HRM Department is the over-all event coordinator.
