Goldenstate College President to Represent Provincial and Regional Functions As Appointed By CHED and COHREP

Ms. Josie Yap-Tirador, MBA, Goldenstate College President has been chosen to represent  REGION XII TO THE COUNCIL OF HOTEL & RESTAURANT EDUCATORS OF THE PHILIPPINES (COHREP). The appointment was made during the First Mindanao Hospitality Educators Conference held at the Orchid Garden Hotel, Zamboanga City on August 11, 2009. Ms. Joji Ilagan Bian, adviser for COHREP Mindanao has started organizing in Region XI with plans to extend the organization to the different regions in Mindanao. Goldenstate College being one of the best HRM school in Mindanao considers the appointment an honor to be recognized and trusted to represent the Region in this endeavor.

Likewise, in the meeting organized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) for  School President's and Registrar's on August 17, 2009 at Notre Dame of Tacurong College, Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat, our beloved College President was elected to sit as Secretary for the National Association of Higher Education Institutions (NAHEI) General Santos City Chapter. It is the aim of this organization to enhance Higher Education Institutions participation to academic, cultural and sports activities that will help recognize talents and skills worthy to represent the country globally. Congratulations to our hardworking President!
