Goldenstate College, Inc.

Last June 20, 2009, the covered court of Dadiangas South Elementary School was filled with NSTP II, P.E 1 and P.E 3 students of Goldenstate College to listen to invited speakers and be oriented about these subjects because of a very huge number of enrollees in the college,. the whole-day orientation was divided in two sessions.

Ms. Shena Agudo, a P.E teacher, discussed  the rules and policies that students have to abide during the P.E classes; among which are the wearing of the prescribed P.E uniform and the compliance of the different requirements before the end of the semester.

The day was not purely an orientation but it indeed became a showcase of certified beauties and qualified talents Goldenstate can offer. The pride of this institution in terms of singing provided the occasion some intermission numbers which the audience really enjoyed.

The highlight of the event was the elaboration of the ROTC advocacy. The program coordinator invited speakers from the Philippine Military Academy to give insights to the students about the advantages and benefits of enrolling in the program, which is one of the components of NSTP.

He discussed the different activities and programs a cadet will encounter, experience and enjoy as he keeps himself active in the ROTC Training.

The event turned out to be a very successful one. Apparently, this orientation widened the students understanding about their subjects particularly that to the ROTC advocacy which will be advantageous all throughout their stay here in this institution and would eventually make them worthy citizens of the country.
