WE PARTY WITH A BANG!!! "And guess who's with us...the Prince of RNB, JAY-R
Amazing vocals, grooving body and unlimited & unstoppable excitement, these are the qualities of the students who unveiled their talents at the Goldenstate Acquaintance Party, which was held at the 18th Hole Driving Range beside Royal Hotel of General Santos City last July 30, 2009.Everybody got jammed!
With the humorous and unbeatable emcee, Sir Jay Custorio, the program proper opened with a heart stopping dance number from the faculty and staff. They surprised the students as they uncovered their "dancerous" side. Nobody, nobody but them made the crowd go wild. It was indeed a number to remember.
Sun Cellular was the event's major sponsor. They awarded cellular phones to the lucky winners of various competitions. The night was indeed raining with prizes, literally and figuratively I may say.....
The presence of Mr. & Mrs. Warren A. Manilay truly made the affair more glittering and special. They also partied with the students, the teachers and of course, Jay-R.
The School president, Mrs. Josie Yap-Tirador, had as well the spirit for the party. The Head of Student Affairs and the School Administrator, Mr. Ferdinand G. Alcantara gyrated to the beat of Jai-Ho and opened the affair with short but meaningful remarks.
Next who showcased real talent was everybody's most awaited performer, the one and only Philippine RNB Prince, Jay-R! He serenaded the audience with his hits and some selected love songs, which that made the night so romantic and special. The singer-actor stepped down from the stage to shake hands with his fans, who also had some photo opportunities with the singer. He got a chance to dedicate one song to Miss Jinky Pacquiao, who then was at the venue.
The night was filled of happiness. After all, one was acquainted with the others. Some may not win material prizes, but surely, each won a priceless one-the new FRIENDSHIP.
