Green Valley College champions Table setting

Five (5) colleges answered the call to participate the Gensan’s Tuna Festival – 4th Tuna Skills Olympics 2009 for table setting sponsored by Goldenstate College last September 3, 2009 at KCC Mall Convention and Events Center in Gensan.

St. Joseph Technical Academy of Davao City, Inc., MITC-Koronadal, Green Valley College, Davao Merchant Marine Academy, Assumption College of Davao City, and Glan School of Science and Technology were among those participating schools. Five different festive concepts were showcased to suit the judges’ tastes.

The event area was filled with excited crowd as they witnessed he participants expelled their skills in order to create seemingly masterful arts. “Celebrating the Wealth of the Sea Concept” by Green Valley College caught the meticulous eyes of the judges. Other winners were St. Joseph Technical Academy of Davao City, Inc. with its “Great Tuna Harvest Concept” and MITC-Koronadal with its “Japanese Concept” which took the 2nd and 3rd places respectively.
