GOLDENSTATE COLLEGE IN COOPERATION WITH KALILANGAN SA GENSAN, PRESENTS: "GENSAN'S FIRST AUTO AND BIKE SHOW 2010"Come and witness the first ever motor show here in General Santos City as Goldensate College and Kalilangan sa Gensan present "AUTO AND BIKE SHOW 2010". This is made possible through the initiative of Mr. Warren A. Manilay,MNSA, CEO of Goldenstate College. Expect an array of fabulous and rare collections of vintage cars and bikes as well as new age, contemporary classic and modified automobiles.
The event will be at Robinson's Mall Activity Center on February 20 & 21 2010 and it will be participated by car collectors and enthusiasts all over the region. Special awards will be given to the most deserving winners for each category; the Vintage Category, the New Age Category and the Current/Contemporary Classic Category.

DATE – FEBRUARY 20 & 21, 2010 (PROPOSED DATES)
RULES:
- Each participating car / motorcycle / bike is required to register before the deadline date. Deadline Date will be on February 15, unless otherwise moved by the organizer;
- AUTO & BIKE SHOW 2010 is open to all interested participants;
- Registration is Free;
- Each participating car can join any of the competition categories set by the organizer.
- Competition Categories are as follows:
A. For Vintage Competition: (Best in Old School / Classic Category)
Entry Category:
1. Pre-War Category (For Cars / Motorcycles manufactured & maintained before World War II)
2. Post- War Category (For Cars / Motorcycles manufactured & maintained after World War II from 1946 – 1959)
B. New Age Competition: Best DECADE Tailored Car Award (For Cars / motorcycles maintained & restored in the different decades)
3. The Pop 60’s Category (For Cars between 1960 – 1969)
4. Groovin ‘70’s Category (For Cars between 1970 – 1979)
5. NU Wave ‘80’s Category (For Cars between 1980 – 1989)
6. Swinging ‘90’s Category (For Cars 1990 – 1999)
C. Current/Contemporary Classic Category (Hottest Club of the Show Award)
7. The Millenium Model Category (For Cars belonging to 2000 – present)
Criteria: A. Vintage Category: (Best in Old Classic School Award)1. For Pre-War Category & Post-War Category -
a. Entry Cars / Motorcycles must be categorized according to the date before & after World War II but not later than 1959 model;
b. Entry Cars / Motorcycles must be in good running condition and presentation must show maintenance of the said model;
c. Entry Cars / Motorcycles in this category will be judged according to 10 items with 10% each as maximum score and these are:
c. 1. Body Paint Quality - Overall Paint Quality Appearance
c. 2. Luggage Compartment – including Trunk, Cabin or Truck Bed
c. 3. Engine Compartment – including Engine Compartment & Performance
c. 4. Exterior Body Appearance – Chrome, Rubber & Plastic Parts Quality
c. 5. Interior – Interior Appearance must be intact
c. 6. Alignment of Doors, Fenders, Bumpers & other Body Model – include Kit & Molds
c. 7. Underchassis – Undercarriage & Suspension
c. 8. Wheels & Tires
c. 9. Overall Display – Appearance & Condition
c. 10. Cleanliness – Maintenance of overall condition inside & outside (interior & exterior)
d. Each category (Pre-War & Post War Category) will choose 1 winner that met the Criteria;
e. A Special Award is given to the Best Vintage Car / Old School – Classic Category Award;
B. New Age Competition (The Pop 60’s, Groovin ‘70’s, NU Wave ‘80’s & Swinging ‘90”s)
Best Decade Tailored Car / Motorcycle Award Criteria:
a. Entry Cars / Motorcycles in this category must be pre-registered;
b. Entry Cars / Motorcycles will be judged according to:
Criteria for Pop 60’s & Groovin 70’s:
1. Traditional Style – Must maintain / reflect heritage / age of the car in its appearance;
2. Over all Exterior Condition;
3. Interior Impact;
4. Engine Bay – Condition & Soundness of Engine;
5. Under Body – Underchassis & Suspension;
6. Cleanliness & Presentation – this includes cleanliness in Maintenance
Points Distribution:
1. Traditional Style – 20%
2. Overall exterior Condition – 20%
3. Interior Impact – 15%
4. Engine Bay – 15%
5. Under Body – 15%
6. Cleanliness & Presentation – 15%Total – 100%
Criteria for NU Wave ‘80’s & Swinging 90’s:
c. 1. Degree of Difficulty in Restoration – 15%
c. 2. Paint Preparation – 15%
c. 3. Interior Preparation – 15%
c. 4. Engine Display – 15%
c. 5. Auto-Detailing – 10%
c. 6. General Appeal & Cleanliness – 10%
c. 7. Overall – Presentation – 10%
c. 8. Audio – Video Impact Set -Up – 10%
For a total of 100%
C. Current / Contemporary Classic Competition – The Millennium Model Category
Hottest Club of the Show Award – same judging Criteria for Category B, NU WAVE ‘80s & SWINGING ‘90’s
- Only pre-registered cars / motorcycles under private ownership or club membership are allowed to participate;
- Entry Cars / motorcycle participants must show modifications in any different areas such as: lip kits, suspension, engine dress up, wheels, audio, exhaust, shift knobs, full body kits, custom seats & interiors, roll bars, video installs, supercharger, turbos, color change, motor swaps etc…..
- Judges will be selected by a Panel composed of the organizer and will have as its primary qualification knowledge & length of experience in the Auto / Car / Motorcycle Manufacturing / Dealership Business
- Judges will begin inspecting car / motorcycle participants on the very first day of Car Display Competition;
- Pre-Registered Cars / Motorcycle participants will be given points deduction if they arrived after the opening ceremonies of the said show;
- Absolutely NO SELLING of the displayed models will be allowed inside the venue during the said event;
- Each judge will be given a scoring sheet where the criteria are outlined;
- For the Millennium Category, 1 winners will be chosen;
- Special Awards will only have 1 winner per category per entry competition;
- There are two entry competitions, AUTO & BIKE;
- Special Individual Awards will be given and these are: For Auto & Bike Entries –
1. Best in Auto Paint Restoration (Over all irregardless of the Category); (2)
2. Best in Interior Set-up / Design; (2)
3. Best Engine Display; (2)
4. Best in Body Kits; (2)
5. Best Restored Model; (2)
6. Best in 4x4 / SUV / Big Bike Set-Up; (2)
7. Best in Sports Trunk Model; (2)
8. Best in Racing Set-Up Model; (2)
9. Best in Underchassis / Suspension Set - Up; (2)
10. Best Car Club Audio – Video Set – Up Display; (2)
Special Major Awards for Auto & Bike entries will be added and these are:
1. SPONSOR’S AWARD – to be selected by the different sponsors; (2)
2. COMMUNITY AWARD – to be selected by a representative of the Community; (2)
3. FUN AWARD – selected by the organizer; (2)
4. PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD – to be selected by the viewing public; (2)
5. THE KALILANGAN HERITAGE CAR SHOW AWARD – to be selected by the Kalilangan Foundation (2)
