Goldenstate College holds successful 21st Jobs Fair and Symposium 2026 Goldenstate College successfully conducted its 21st Jobs Fair and Symposium 2026 on March 6, 2026 at Veranza Mall, General Santos City, gathering more than 70 participating companies and attracting over 1,200 job applicants from different fields and academic disciplines. Anchored on the theme “A Call to Service: Military and Civilian Fair 2026,” the event aimed to provide employment opportunities while promoting careers in both the military and civilian sectors, encouraging graduates and job seekers to contribute their skills and talents in nation-building.
The event was graced by Usec. Gavin D. Edjawan, Undersecretary for Administration of the Department of National Defense, who served as keynote speaker. He was joined by Neil Eric Larzabal, also from the Department of National Defense, who expressed strong support for initiatives that bridge education and employment opportunities for Filipino graduates. The program was also attended by city officials, invited speakers, industry partners, and institutional leaders, demonstrating strong collaboration between the academe, government agencies, and private sector in strengthening workforce readiness. With a diverse range of participating employers—from private companies to government agencies—the jobs fair provided applicants with opportunities for on-the-spot interviews, career consultations, and networking with industry professionals.
The symposium component further enriched the event by featuring discussions on career pathways, public service opportunities, and workforce trends. Goldenstate College reaffirmed its commitment to career development, employability, and community engagement through this large-scale initiative.
