Goldenstate College hosts PCG Recruitment for Region XII applicants

The Philippine Coast Guard conducted a large-scale recruitment activity at Goldenstate College – Lagao Campus, with the school preparing to accommodate more than 𝟱,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗫𝗜𝗜 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗯𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀.

According to the school administration, the screening and processing of applicants were scheduled on March 14 to March 15, 2026, providing aspiring candidates the opportunity to pursue a career in maritime security and national service. The recruitment activity served as a major opportunity for young individuals who wish to join the 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗚𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱, an agency dedicated to safeguarding the country’s maritime territories, ensuring maritime safety, and serving the Filipino people.

The successful hosting of thousands of applicants was made possible through the initiative and strong support of 𝘿𝙧. 𝙒𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙣 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙝 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙮, who facilitated the conduct of the recruitment activity within the campus.

Officials expect a significant number of applicants from various provinces within Soccsksargen to participate in the two-day activity, highlighting the growing interest of the youth in joining uniformed service and contributing to national security.

Through hosting this recruitment event, Goldenstate College continues to support initiatives that open pathways for employment, public service, and nation-building among the youth of the region.
