Goldenstate College ROTC Unit achieves high rating in First Regional RAATI Inspection

The Goldenstate College ROTC Unit successfully conducted its first-ever Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) for Academic Year 2025–2026 on March 25, 2026 at Goldenstate College, Lagao Campus, marking a historic milestone in the unit’s pursuit of excellence, discipline, and service.

The inspection was spearheaded by MAJ Cyrus Luigi L. Del Muro (INF), PA, Commandant and Director of the 1203rd Community Defense Center, together with the RAATI Team headed by COL Ruben G. Aquino, GSC (INF), PA. The event was also attended by Dr. Gregorio Warren A. Manilay, MNSA, Ed.D., PhD, School President; Dr. Sara Jane T. Manilay, Vice President for Finance; PBGEN Willie M. Dangane Sr., PhD (Ret.), NSTP Director; PFC Jonahfe Claire L. Pacaco (INF), PA, Chief Clerk; TSG Robert L. Domingo (AGS), PA, Training NCO; COL Anthony O. Samonte, ARM (GSC), PA, Commandant of GSC ROTC; Mr. Harie Cris Miano, RCRIM, ROTC Coordinator; and the Graduate Military Assistant. 

RAATI is an annual evaluation that assesses the administrative efficiency and tactical proficiency of ROTC units to ensure cadets are well-trained, disciplined, and prepared to serve the nation. During the inspection, the Goldenstate College ROTC Unit demonstrated remarkable performance, reflecting strong leadership, rigorous training, and unity among cadets. In the Administrative Inspection, the unit earned 189.6 out of 200 points (94.8%). In the Comprehensive Examination for Military Science 1 and 2, the cadets obtained 139.4 out of 150 points (92.93%). The Drill Test, which included ceremonial parade, rank inspection, and close order drill, garnered 223.9 out of 250 points (89.56%). Meanwhile, the Military Stakes—covering map reading, weapons familiarization, raid and ambush scenario, first aid, and basic life support—achieved 348.83 out of 400 points (87.21%). Overall, the Goldenstate College ROTC Unit recorded a grand total of 901.73 points out of 1000, with an equivalent rating of 90.17%, demonstrating the cadets’ dedication to the core ROTC values of leadership, discipline, and service. The achievement stands as a proud moment for the institution and serves as an inspiration for future cadets to continue striving for excellence in service to the community and the nation.
